Dr. Frederick J. White practices cardiology in Shreveport, Louisiana. He completed his undergraduate degree at Louisiana State University in Shreveport and his MD in 1982 at the LSU Health School of Medicine-Shreveport. He completed residency training in Internal Medicine at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and fellowship training in cardiology at the Vanderbilt Medical Center, where he served as an Instructor in Medicine and the Chief Fellow in Cardiology.
Dr. White is a member of the medical staff of the Willis Knighton Medical Center in Shreveport, Louisiana, where he served as Chair of the Institutional Ethics Committee for twenty years.
Dr. White is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in both Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Diseases. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the American College of Chest Physicians.
Dr. White is Chairman of the Board of LAMMICO RRG, Inc., the largest risk retention group in Arkansas in 2021 as measured by Arkansas written premium.
Dr. White completed a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 2016 and a Master of Business Administration in 2019, both from Louisiana State University in Shreveport. He received the Undergraduate Certificate of Higher Education in Philosophy from the University of Oxford. He holds the Certificate in Health Care Ethics from the National Catholic Bioethics Center and is a Certified Healthcare Ethics Consultant by the HCEC Certification Commission of the American Society for Bioethics and Humanities. He holds the Health Care Risk Management Certificate of the American Society for Health Care Risk Management.
